Lightweight vs Hevy, feature by feature
The core logging is a wash — both do it well. The difference is everything Lightweight builds on top, once your workouts know which gym they happened in.

Why lifters switch
Not more of the same logger — a different idea of what a training app is for.
Your gyms, on a globe
Every session is tied to the gym it happened in. Train somewhere new and it stamps your passport — a map of every gym and country you've lifted in, instead of a flat list of workouts.
Records that know the gym
A lucky machine number on hotel plates isn't a PR at your home gym. Lightweight keeps records honest by remembering the equipment and gym behind every lift.
Status you can't buy
Earn permanent ranks by actually training — with a transparent breakdown, no XP theatrics, and nothing to pay to skip. The one number in fitness that means you showed up.
See who lifts where
Per-gym leaderboards and opt-in "training now" presence turn your gym into a scene. Private by default — your precise location is never shown to other users.
Bring your Hevy history with you
Switching shouldn't cost you your logbook. Lightweight's importer is built around Hevy's CSV export, so your workouts, exercises and PRs come across in a couple of taps.
Export from Hevy
In Hevy, open Settings and export your workout history as a CSV file.
Import into Lightweight
Open Lightweight, choose Import, and pick the CSV. It maps your exercises to the catalogue automatically.
Pick up where you left off
Your history, streak and personal records are there — now tied to the gyms you trained at.
