Which approach fits your training?
Hevy lets you tag a gym on a workout. For machine progress across gyms, its guidance recommends separate custom exercises named for each gym or machine. Lightweight uses the selected gym automatically for machine and cable Previous values in Smart mode, and machine PRs are gym-specific by default. Portable lift history can span gyms. Both apps include four free routines and a free ChatGPT connection; Lightweight also includes a free Claude connection. Hevy keeps older workout records while its free statistics views stop at three months. Lightweight’s standard history and chart ranges remain available on its free plan. AI provider plans and usage limits still apply, and Lightweight’s routine and advanced analysis limits remain in place.
